Tender Greens continues to fill out relevant sections of the city, especially ones that are heavy with office drones who want a fast, healthy, and affordable bite to eat. With brands like sweetgreen soon invading LA, it's good to know that Tender Greens has been here first, offering a slew of market-fresh salads and creative hot plates to power you through your work day.

The newest spot in Glendale, which sits on the bustling corner of Brand and Wilson, opens officially today, with crispy falafel as a new veggie option. Other plant-based sides include pasta salad with kale and fennel pesto; rainbow carrots with toasted fennel seeds; and organic legumes and vegetables salad.

Also consider some of the French bistro-type options on the menu, like duck confit salad or market fish salad atop a bed of butter lettuce and arugula. Hours at this outlet run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
