The Playa Provisions mini-complex out by the beach is throwing an overall first anniversary party this coming Monday, which also happens to be Memorial Day.
To celebrate, husband and wife team Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts are doing a backyard barbecue-themed event, serving sausages, beer from Stone Brewing, ice cream, and more to customers. In lieu of a sit-down tasting menu or big-ticket blowout, Playa is selling $5 tickets that allow access to all the food and drink — kinda like how you pay for boardwalk games at the fair. Beers and brats will cost either one or two tickets, and the party will take place in the ample parking lot out front.
The Memorial Day/first anniversary party at Playa Provisions is kicking off at 11 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m., leaving plenty of time in between to make a stop off at the beach, only steps away.
