EAGLE ROCK— Little Beast is making its little four-seat bar one of the hottest tickets in town with its "Five Bucks at the Bar" special. Each weekday, chef Sean Lowenthal will offer one regularly priced menu item at the bar for $5. The first special kicked off with Little Beast's $21 southern fried chicken, offered on Mondays only. The $5 menu item will be announced each afternoon on the restaurant's social media sites, and will be available starting at 5 p.m.
MARINA DEL REY— New England-inspired seafood restaurant Catch & Release opened just a few weeks ago, but is going full steam ahead with a happy hour menu that launches today. Think $2 oysters, $6 Ho Jo clam strips, $6 cod chowder-smotherd fries poutine style, $6 cocktails, and $5 tap beers. Happy hour is Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
