Cinco de Mayo at Petty Cash, Bruce Kalman Teaches a Cooking Class on May 9

FAIRFAX— Cinco de Mayo is almost upon us, and Petty Cash Taqueria is going big. Tonight, May 4, Bill Esparza will host a special tequila tasting from 6 to 9 p.m., and tomorrow, the restaurant will open its doors at noon with tunes by DJ Fernie and entertainment by adult balloon man.

SANTA MONICA— Union chef Bruce Kalman is teaming up with French chef and instructor Anne Willan on Saturday, May 9 to teach a cooking class at La Varenne cooking school. The celebrated duo will teach five Italian dishes, including Kalman's famous housemade stracciatella and porchetta. The class is limited to 15 guests, and is $250. More information here.
