2014 was a rough year for Ricardo Zarate. After he was ousted from his own restaurants (Picca, Mo Chica, and Paiche), the once-thriving chef has flown under the radar, with the exception of an appearance at Cochon 555.

Now, the chef is once again showing off his knack for Peruvian cuisine at Roy Choi's POT inside The Line Hotel in Koreatown on Thursday, June 25. A $65 prix-fixe will include scallop, uni, and foie gras dishes served family style. Pisco cocktail pairings is also available for an additional 30 bucks.

With Latin tunes that come by way of Radio Sombra's David Gomez, the pop-up has all the makings of a lovely evening. Reservations here.
