BEVERLY GROVE— Neighborhood food hall Stir Market has a new chef manning the kitchen. Stacy Rampton of Vegas restaurants Carnevino, Border Grill, and Jaleo recently scored the gig of executive chef, joining chef-partner Jet Tila in the kitchen. Updated summer dishes from the incoming chef include ginger broth grilled salmon, spicy wild Dungeness crab with handmade squid ink pasta, and Stir Market shrimp and grits.
SANTA MONICA— Westside taco joint Tacoteca is kicking off brunch service this Saturday, June 20, and will be offered Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The three-course brunch prix-fixe includes options like bacon guacamole, sope benedict, chorizo burrito, and breakfast enchilada for $15.95. DOWNTOWN— Oenophiles will find a happy home at Faith & Flower this summer with its "Terroir to Table" dinner series. On Monday, June 29, the downtown restaurant will welcome Drake Whitecraft of Whitecraft Winery, who will collaborate with Chef Michael Hung and Wine Director Jared Hooper on pairings to accompany a duck-centric meal.
