—Roy Choi's POT inside the Line Hotel will be closed from Monday to Thursday this week, with a re-opening scheduled for this Friday at 5 p.m. No explanation was given for the closure. This comes a few days after a successful pop-up with Ricardo Zarate.

— The LA Times has a little review on the cheap drinks and $1 oysters at Bar10. One wonders how many other bars with the word Bar+Number will open in L.A. this year.

— If you haven't noticed, S. Irene Virbila, whom everyone in the industry that's been around still calls Sherry (her first name), has unveiled a photo of herself on Twitter. She hasn't written a standard review for the Times in years, but continues to write columns and roundups.

— Racked LA reports that UberEATS will kindly deliver Clover Juice to your doorstep this week for $13, which includes a full size bottle and mini-bottle as a sidecar. However, if you enter code RACKEDEATSLA you can get three days of juice  pairings for $24 total.

— People love working for In-N-Out. No wonder those cheap burgers taste so good.

— If you didn't know, Cook's County has a new chef named Trevor Rocco, and he's really into the blue corn quesadillas from Echo Park.
