Enjoy coffee and have an eye for design? Consider making a weekend trip to HD Buttercup in Culver City. The spacious warehouse showcases furniture from just about every era of design, but has added a new tenant of late: Shreebs Coffee.

The occasional coffee pop-up has been known in the past to work out of some interesting locations, like a laundromat on Highland Avenue in Hollywood. More recently, the team has been putting their pourover cart to good use inside the Culver City retail warehouse, selling weekend cups to passersby. There are no espresso drinks at the moment, only cold brews, pourovers, and a shaken cold brew latte mixed with horchata, plus teas for someone needing a lighter touch.

The two-woman crew behind Shreebs is even using the HD Buttercup space to their benefit, pulling in actual furniture from the store so that customers can lounge for a moment before continuing on. Currently the pop-up runs weekends only, with Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
