Online Bakeshop Jackie's Cookie Connection Settles Into Santa Monica Strip Mall

Health-conscious Westsiders are bracing themselves this morning, after news from Toddrickallen that Jackie’s Cookie Connection is going brick and mortar.

The award-winning bakeshop from Jacqueline Kamin has an outsized online presence and an East Coast legacy, but until now has only existed in the flesh as a smallish stall at the Century City Mall, right across from the Apple store. There are plans to further open kiosks at Hollywood & Highland and the suddenly-white-hot Westfield Village at Topanga, but a full-on storefront is something new altogether.

Backing up Toddrickallen’s claims, the Jackie’s website now lists 12109 Santa Monica Blvd. in Santa Monica (at a corner strip mall spot called The Plaza) as the cookie shop’s flagship destination, though their Facebook page hasn’t yet made the official announcement of the location. Looks like there may still be some work to do before the primo unveiling.

In the meantime, check out this forum post on the best cookies across all of Los Angeles to get your fix — or just order some Jackie’s online and have them shipped to your door.
