It's their 8th shop, but this one is the most Western restaurant.

Tacos El Gavilan, which has outposts all over East LA and some in South LA, has finally openedflagship store as of last week in Hollywood on the corner of Sunset and La Brea. With a menu that features tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and tortas, plus full-on desayunos with huevos rancheros, it's sure to be a cheap eat pick for those living or working in the area.

Much like its competitor King Taco, they serve meats like carne asada, lengua, buche, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, all at extremely affordable prices. Including tax, tacos run about $1.50. No word on the hours at the moment but all the other taco shops tend to be open very late, and considering its proximity to Hollywood clubs, this outlet will probably serve late into the night as well.
