Something else is taking it's place.

Last week, Whiz notified its loyal fans on Facebook that it would be shutting down on August 15. Open for about a year and a half in Koreatown, the tiny shop was easily one of the best Philly cheesesteak shops in town. They also let followers know that someone else would be taking over the space and introducing a new concept. Founder Jimmy Han, who also owns Beer Belly around the corner, said that the Whiz team would be directed to yet another project that hasn't been announced. If you're a fan of gut-busting Philly cheesesteaks, you'll have a few more weeks before you'll have to get Boos or a number of other shops around town.
