Stickhouse Gelato Opens Their First U.S. Location in Santa Monica on August 24

The dog days of summer are upon us, but thanks to consistently warm temperatures in LA, gelato will always be a treat. Especially with the Italian-based franchise Stickhouse Gelato, opening Monday, August 24 in Santa Monica. With over 100 popular stores worldwide, this location is the first to open in the US. So what makes Stickhouse so unique? It serves creamy and fruity gelato on a stick, making it a practical pit stop for a refreshing dessert on the go.

Look forward to gelato with traditional flavors including chocolate, hazelnut, and of course, the beloved pistachio. For fruity gelato, everything is sourced locally, and is both organic and gluten-free.

Besides the 800 sticks that will be displayed at Stickhouse, other treats include gelato bon bons, gelato cakes, gelato pops and coffee drinks. Stickhouse has its own coffee blend with beans sourced from Central and South America that incorporate chocolate notes to balance the gelato.

Hours of operation will start at 7:30 a.m. for early-risers to grab a coffee, and will stay open until 11 p.m. daily Overpass Creative transformed the space, and gave it a bright, modern feel.
