Just across the street from the Sunset Strip's Crunch gym comes Shred Cafe, a new breakfast and lunch sorta spot tucked into the big strip mall there.

If the name already sounds familiar, that's because Shred's first iteration came as a more juice- and smoothie-forward spot on Beverly near Robertson, but that location closed quietly not long ago. Now the owners are back, but with a new location and a menu that leans towards heartier fare like wraps and breakfast burritos, without losing the healthy angle.

Apparently, the new Shred Cafe only soft-opened a fews days ago, with plans to do a brisk takeout and delivery business for the neighborhood. They're still selling branded fresh-pressed juices, just like the original location, as well as said wraps, coffees, and more.

Hours for Shred Cafe run weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
