Khao Soi Rules at This New Expansion From Valley Stars Inthanon Thai Cuisine

Currently ready for slurping.

The Valley’s Inthanon Thai Cuisine has reached out over the Hollywood Hills to drop in a new, more casual second location. Except this one has a particular focus.

Called Khao Soi by Inthanon Thai, the new East Hollywood joint takes over the former Muang Phe, just west of what is traditionally considered Thai Town. A call to the Valley favorite confirms the expansion, with plans to mostly serve the beloved Northern Thai soup that is its namesake.

Inthanon, of course, has long been a darling for their personal version of khao soi, and coupled with the recent popularity of the dish, the new single-item outpost isn’t surprising. After all, it’s working for Andy Ricker’s Pok Pok Phat Thai in Chinatown.

Of course, there will be variations on the dish, offering a variety of different ingredient options including moo krob (a spiced and fried pork belly), plus a few other favorite dishes like papaya salad.

Hours for Khao Soi by Inthanon Thai run daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with street parking only.
