Thought your sweet tooth was bad? Last Tuesday at 3 a.m., NBC LA reports that a robber broke into Sensitive Sweets, a San Clemente bakery for people with food allergies, by sawing a tunnel through the adjacent pet store's wall. The thief, dressed in full winter gear in this Southern California heat wave, broke open the cash register to steal what looks like hardly more than twenty bucks.
The tunneling mastermind (who has nothing on El Chapo) was caught on five surveillance cameras, leaving a clear footprint among several other clues. No word on whether the robber stopped to enjoy one of Sensitive Sweets' gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, and nut-free cupcakes on his petty cash spree.
