One of Australia’s most well-known names in coffee, Paramount Coffee Project, is just about ready for its Los Angeles debut, with an opening slated for some time next week.

Considered to be one of Australia’s premier specialty coffee purveyors, PCP (for short) has been planning to land in the City of Angels for some time now. Sprudge first reported on the expansion back in March, which will put the concept-heavy coffee place right in the middle of Fairfax, in the former 3 Amigos Produce space just up from Cofax.

The company is a mix of high-level coffee shop, experimental operator, and home for all manner of global pop-ups. Even the Go Get Em Tiger team has spent time inside Sydney’s PCP shop recently, showcasing their own winning skills Down Under.

As for the Fairfax location itself, expect high-end coffee in a sit-down and takeaway format, plus weekly cuppings, learning sessions, and of course international pop-ups from coffee lovers across the globe. There will also be food from Will Majano, who has spent time everywhere from the French Laundry to Petit Trois to La Poubelle.

No official word on PCP Fairfax’s inbound opening, but look for it sometime within the week. Once it’s up and running, daily hours will go from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
