The Sound of Music is coming to The Los Angeles Music Center beginning September 20, and Kendall's Brasserie is celebrating the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical by offering a full-blown Von Trapp-themed children's menu for pre-theater dining.
The two course prix-fixe includes options like The Hills Are Alive chicken schnitzel with lingonberries, Do-Re-Mi macaroni and cheese grantinée, and My Favorite Things frankfurter. Coupled with the Tied-Up with String apple strudel, the Austrian-inspired menu is offered at the reasonable price of $17.
There are restrictions on such a great deal, of course. Like, well, being a kid for one. The Sound of Music prix-fixe will be offered September 20 through October 31 on performance dates only, then it's so long, farewell.
