Boiling Point, the Taiwanese restaurant chain that first opened back in 2004 and has been aggressively expanding into a nearly 20-restaurant U.S. empire ever since, has gotten around to putting a brand new outlet into Pasadena.
One interesting note, though: the location on 18 W. Green Street has dropped Boiling Point's original specialty stinky tofu in favor of the more approachable, less olfactory-bashing hot pot dishes. Instead, the brand is dubbing this one their "Concept Store," meaning Boiling Point Pasadena will opt instead for organic vegetables and more variations on flavors that span the Asian continent. Hot pot options include Korean bean paste, Japanese miso, Taiwanese Spicy and, of course, the BP Classic. Check out the full menu here.
Boiling Point Pasadena joins locations in San Gabriel, Monterey Park, Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, and Gardena, among other locations in Orange County, Northern California, Washington, and Canada.
