— One of the most anticipated restaurant openings of the year is about to open its doors. Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse is taking over the old Mix spot on the 64th floor of the Delano Las Vegas with his new concepts Rivea and Skyfall Lounge. The $2.8 million construction budget will revamp the 200-seat restaurant with a palette of "white and maritime blues" and yellow accents. Skyfall Lounge (which will offer a Proprietors, LLC cocktail program) sports 180 degree views of Las Vegas and a space-aged design, rife with "subtle cloud forms hanging overhead."
— So what's on the menu at Rivea? Alain Ducasse talks to Eater Vegas about the dishes that will be inspired by the markets of Provence and Italy.
— LA is blessed with many outstanding fried chicken dishes, and now with the opening of Korean chicken specialist Bonchon Chicken, so too will Las Vegas. The Busan, South Korea-born chain will bring its addictive sweet and spicy fried chicken to an over 2,338 square feet at the Rainbow Sunset Pavilion Center. An opening date has yet to be announced.
— It's officially Oktoberfest season. For those looking for an excuse to guzzle steins of beer and sport your finest lederhosen, Sin City has these seven great options.
