Noodle lovers, listen up, Ivan Ramen, the crazy popular Tokyo-born ramen shop that comes by way of Long Island native Ivan Orkin is making its Los Angeles debut. Well, for two nights at least.
The Japanophile is partnering with POT for a $50 prix-fixe on Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12. The epic meal will begin with a spread of small plates including uni and country ham "Ham and Eggs;" a choice of mazemen or shio, shoyu, or breakfast ramen; then concludes with a kochujang caramel and vanilla ice cream slider.
The chef, who opened the first Ivan Ramen in Tokyo in 2007 before opening two shops in NY, was recently lauded by Eater's own Ryan Sutton in his review Ivan Ramen Is So Good It Will Make Your Eyes Explode.
There's little doubt the event will sell out, so be sure to make your reservations here. Each meal comes with custom swag and tunes by DJs Kapsoul and Kota.
