Timothy Hollingsworth Goes Full-On Chef's Table in This Slick Otium Trailer

It’s another artsy project by Life & Thyme.

Been dying to get a sneak peek at Otium? In a trailer-length short film very much in the vein of its last moody interlude on Verve Coffee Roasters, Life & Thyme documents the makings of a single dish, smoked hiramasa pastrami.

Former French Laundry chef de cuisine, Barrel & Ashes mastermind, and Otium executive chef/partner Timothy Hollingsworth stars in the film, reflecting on his journey while building the Japanese clay pot dish. Although littered with gorgeous imagery of Downtown and of the building of the smoky showstopper, it's more about Hollingsworth's culinary philosophy than anything else.

There's no doubt this will only fuel anticipation for the upcoming restaurant next to the Broad Museum, which is due to open on September 20.
