It was only a few weeks ago that we learned Obicà Mozzarella Bar, formerly known as Obika before a font-related name change, would be taking over the old Hostaria del Piccolo space in Santa Monica. Well today the imported cheese specialist is officially open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

The Italian-born concept with locations in Italy, Japan, and Dubai also operates a location in Century City. On the menu is a selection of Italian favorites that moves from antipasti and salads to pizza and pasta and concludes with meat dishes. Of course the star of the menu is the mozarella bar that directly imports Mozzarella di Bufala DOP twice a week from cheese makers in Campania, Italy.

Check out the full menu below. Just don't expect family-friendly prices.
