The Federal Bar North Hollywood Transforms Into a Poutinerie Every Monday and Tuesday

It's a build-your-own version of the Canadian favorite.

Poutine is on a roll in Los Angeles, first taking hold with Animal's crazy popular oxtail poutine, then getting its own dedicated restaurant Smoke's Poutinerie in Hollywood back in June (and of course there's P'Tit Soleil in Westwood). Well now there's another place to get your gut-busting fix of drunk food: The Federal Bar in North Hollywood.

Every Monday and Tuesday night, the NoHo restaurant will become a poutinerie, offering build-your-own iterations of Canada's finest fried export. Diners first select a base of French fries, sweet potato fries, or tater tots; a gravy; then toppings that include blue cheese, short rib, soyrizo, crispy onions, bacon, and crispy brussels sprouts. Not into making your own creation? There will be pre-set menu items for those who prefer the classics.

Federal Bar's Poutinerie will open Monday and Tuesdays at 6 p.m., with live band karaoke on Mondays and jazz on Tuesdays.
