In a fitting addition to Abbot Kinney, The Butcher's Daughter, a vegetarian cafe and juice bar with two locations in New York, opens today at 1205 Abbot Kinney in Venice. The self-described "vegetable slaughter house" that comes by way of Heather Tierney includes just about everything you need to live a healthy lifestyle.

Within the 3,200 square foot space is an indoor/outdoor cafe, juice bar, marketplace, "vegetable butcher," and espresso bar. That means you can sip a cup of Vittoria Coffee, dig into vegetable-centric dishes, and grab a bottle of The Butcher's Daughter's private wine label "Slutty Red" Pinot Noir, "Sassy White" Sauvignon Blanc, and "Sexy Rose" to go.

As for fare, Executive Chef Jermaine Jonas is bringing the popular dishes from the NY locations to the West Coast. Think dishes like the requisite smashed avocado toast, spicy kale Caesar, and vegan pizza made with house-made vegan cheese. There's even cocktails made with the restaurant's own cold pressed juices to boot.

The Butcher's Daughter will also launch its mobile juice truck, aptly named Butcher's Daughter Juice Truck, which will roam the Westside and make appearances at Venice's First Fridays. Hopefully that green juice will help keep the hangovers at bay.

The Butcher's Daughter is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. serving breakfast all day with lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch to follow.
