Not that Los Angeles has been experiencing the depth of cold and snow that the East Coast is getting pummeled with, but there’s still something nice about spooning into a warm, hearty cup of chili. That’s why Philippe’s is giving away 500 cups of the stuff tomorrow, as part of their now-annual Free Chili Day.
Hopefully that name doesn’t sound too complicated for you. All you’ve got to do in order to earn yourself a steaming cup of chili is to show up and order a sandwich. The first 500 customers, beginning at 10:30 a.m., who meet those stringent criteria will earn themselves a voucher for a cup of Dolores chili.
Of course, deals like these at Philippe’s have been known to draw some pretty massive lines before, so you might want to plan accordingly.
