Another burger place has landed along Main Street in Santa Monica today, with news that East Coast transplant Bareburger has officially opened in the former Omelette Parlor space.
The first West Coast location for the upstart, all organic, grass-fed beef burger chain has been known about since at least 2014. Identified by its fun yellow-tinted spaces mostly in the East Coast tri-state area, the company has been on an expansion binge of late, including planned drops into Dubai, Tokyo, and Frankfurt.
Though the menus may vary depending on location, the general gist is a mix of salads, sides like fries and onion rings, sandwiches (fried chicken, falafel) and, of course, burgers — the latter being highly customizable. Beyond those basics, the Santa Monica location will also have meats like elk and bison available.
Eventually, this Main Street location will also serve brunch and, in a few weeks, should expand into full bar service. Saturday marks the official grand opening for Bareburger Santa Monica, though they are soft-open for dinner until then. Eventually, expect hours from roughly 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
