Divita's, with its towering sign of the Italian flag, has been a landmark to the stretch of Wilshire between Barrington Ave and Bundy Drive. The over 40 year-old establishment closed in the fall of last year, much to the dismay of dedicated locals who relied on the mom and pop shop for pizza and down-home garlic bread.

Well, Toddrickallen reports that the windows are now papered up with wine-related quotes from everyone from Galileo to Samuel L. Jackson. Even more amusing, however, is the note at its center with the message "Coming Soon: Your new local and independent restaurant and wine bar," signed "Vincent & Chase."

Now, we're not sure if the new owners of the 2,774 square foot space love Entourage enough to name the upcoming restaurant over the title character or just happen to share Adrian Grenier's fictionalized persona, Vincent Chase. Either way, we're looking forward to learning more details, as a nice wine bar and restaurant would certainly be a welcome addition to the hood.
