Westfield Century City has done a pretty good job of shutting out restaurant after restaurant within its massive digs. First The Counter closed its doors, followed by Seasons 52 and BJ's. While it was rumored that Pink Taco would follow the same fate, those rumors went unsubstantiated until now.
Toddrickallen reports signage on the door that confirms the once-trendy restaurant's closure. Of course, it's not entirely surprising, although the restaurant with a pretty poor location within the mall managed to stay decently busy despite the mall's invasive ongoing construction.

It's just another example of the mall's aspirations for flashier concepts à la Eataly. By the time it finally comes out from under the knife, Westfield Century City will likely look nothing like its former self. Those mourning the loss of the cheeky tacos can find solace at Pink Taco on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
