International burger mini-franchise Hollywood Burger has finally opened up across the street from the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Flashy yellow and blue signage has been up since mid-September, but the restaurant itself only opened its doors (quietly) around the holidays.
Now they’re nearly ready for their official grand opening on January 21, after running through some soft opening paces these last few days. The menu is a mix of straightforward quick service burger options (each under $7) and extra offerings like hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and, apparently, salads. One particular point of pride: they're using Martin's Potato Rolls, a signature bun that's hard to find on the West Coast. Yep, they're the ones that Shake Shack uses.
Of course, being that their name is Hollywood Burger, expect everything to come with a playful name, like Hollywood Famous Shakes, or their Blockbuster BBQ burger. You can add meat to any burger by ‘making it a double feature’, and their kids menu is called Young Hollywood.
Hollywood Burger is now open for lunch and dinner on Hollywood Boulevard, with daily hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The full menu is below.
