Bravo Cucina Abruptly Closes on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade

Third Street Promenade's Bravo Cucina, known for its aggressive hostesses that lure unsuspecting tourists into its antiquated space, is officially down for the count. Toddrickallen reports that the longstanding Italian restaurant has been gutted with no word on what's to come to the location with plenty of foot traffic. A call to the restaurant reveals a disconnected phone line.

The restaurant's unceremonious end comes with a slew of rather scathing Yelp reviews that cite horrendous service and rather mediocre fare. Bravo Cucina was also hit with a vermin infestation back in 2007.
