Rasselbock arrives in Long Beach

Though it was just a few weeks delayed, now the time has come for Rasselbock, the Long Beach sister concept to LA’s Wirtshaus. As the photo above shows, expect outdoor seating, lots of casual German beer and food, and a fair amount of fun for Oktoberfest.

You gotta pay your rent

Looks like some trouble for Milk Cow in Los Feliz, the proposed soft serve and coffee option with plans to set up along Hillhurst. The Korean-based company operates a location in San Francisco and took control of a storefront next door Mustard Seed, but this notice taped to the window seems to show more than ten thousand dollars owed in rent on the property. That can’t bode well for the brand.

Pizza becomes parking

The now former Pizza Hut takeout stop in Silver Lake next to Trader Joe’s is set to be demolished, The Eastsider has learned, making way for a whopping seven new parking spaces. That’s certainly not enough to alleviate all the headaches that come with that notorious TJ’s lot, but it can’t hurt either.
