There’s even more casual fare coming to Westwood today, with the arrival of Pinches Tacos to Glendon Avenue. And better news still: they’re giving away tons of free food, right this second.

The new location takes over a defunct taco operation called Barbacoa Mexican Grill, installing instead the colorful Pinches brand of burritos, tacos, tortas, and breakfast. This new outlet (the company has five across greater Los Angeles now, and two in Las Vegas) even comes with the UCLA-iconic blue and white detail work on the tables and seats, perfect for the inexpensive-eating college set.

The free food giveaway runs today only from noon to 7 p.m., with the company giving away two tacos of your choice, plus chips, salsa, and a drink. After today, UCLA students who show ID will also be able to get a $6.50 daily meal deal that runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and includes two tacos, rice, beans, chips, and a drink.

For the rest of us, Pinches Tacos will be open daily starting at 9 a.m., with weekday hours until 11 p.m. and Friday/Saturday hours until 1 a.m. The full opening menu for the restaurant is below.
