Expect more than just lobster rolls

Silver Lake’s own Knuckle & Claw dropped a surprise second location on Santa Monica this past spring, but is retooling with the cooling weather into something a little more varied. Though the updated spot will carry the same K&C moniker as the original, expect raw bar specialties and more this time around.

The straightforward space on Main Street in Santa Monica first lifted off just before the summer, with string lights hanging over some casual picnic tables outside in the back. The interior held a tiled quick-service feel, but now the team has turned things around with a more traditional setup both inside and out. Expect lots of brick, shade, and some serious Martha’s Vineyard vibes.

The bigger change comes from the menu offerings, where rolls (still available) will make room for larger entrees like whole grilled lobsters, plus raw bar selections galore and lots of greens to round things out. Hours will run 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. most nights (with an extension to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday), with reservations only after 5 p.m. The full reopening menu is below.
