Eleven Madison Park’s Daniel Humm Does Dinner With Ludo on Sunday

And he’s bringing his NoMad food truck along for the ride

Right now Trois Mec is in the middle of one of the biggest guest chef dinner series the city of Los Angeles has ever seen. Daniel Boulud came into town on October 11 for a meal with chef Ludo Lefebvre, and more — including Eleven Madison Park’s own Daniel Humm — still to come. But if you can’t find your way into dinner with Humm and Lefebvre on Sunday night, the next best thing might be right out in the parking lot: the NoMad Truck.

The robins egg blue truck only just officially landed in Los Angeles at the Line Hotel, doling out free food to dozens and dozens of folks who braved the heat yesterday. Before that Daniel Humm and company were at Desert Trip in Palm Springs, but are now looking to make a more sustained splash in the greater Los Angeles market with a series of pop-ups, one-off events, and chef collaborations (their first has been with Roy Choi, hence the Line Hotel connection).

So, while the 2 Chefs: A Dialogue With Food dinner inside at Trois Mec is raging, outside in the strip mall parking lot you’ll find the fancy truck, doling out chicken burgers, Humm hot dogs, and more. The parking lot party runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. only, and if yesterday’s lines were any indication, you should be prepared for a crowd.
