Beverly Boulevard mainstay Angelini Osteria is growing up and out, with a new side concept called Angelini Alimentari popping up next door. The space has been running some soft opening hours the past few days, but isn’t officially plotting their debut until tomorrow.

The long, open room is filled with pastries and a high-end gelato machine, plus the requisite cappuccino machine and plenty of savory items to boot. The full menu, which is below, includes panini, salads, all-day breakfast, and a tight collection of other mainstays meant to satisfy. Beyond that, find dried goods for takeaway, including pasta sauces from Gino Angelini himself.

The biggest pull of the place though, beyond the long marble bar, may well be the leafy outdoor patio in the back. Formerly an office building, the courtyard area has been transformed into a chic, casual space for lounging over a cup of espresso and a pastry. Though the interior space has plenty of counter-service room, expect to spend most of your time on that patio.

Angelini Alimentari, the brainchild of Gino and Elizabeth Angelini and partner Gino Rindone, officially opens for business tomorrow, keeping hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. And for those who find the name eerily similar: no, this place is in no relation to Silver Lake Alimentari, the short-lived takeaway option near Alimento, also in Silver Lake.
