LA’s Upscale Ice Cream Invasion Continues With Rori’s in West Hollywood

Central Coast mainstay Rori’s Artisanal Creamery has opened in West Hollywood, just in time for the sweets-filled Halloween. The Santa Barbara-based ice cream company officially landed Saturday along Santa Monica Boulevard.

The arrival of Rori’s reaches another high water mark for ice cream in greater Los Angeles, as strip malls and standalone storefronts from Silver Lake to Santa Monica have been overrun with scoops and soft serve. At this new location just down from Guisados and across the street from Hamburger Haven, owner Rori Trovato will be using Straus organic milk to craft traditional and unique flavors, from maple pecan to a play on the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

Rori’s officially opened on Saturday, keeping hours Sunday through Thursday from noon to 11 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
