The Toscana Restaurant Group, which currently operates two restaurants in Brentwood (Toscana and Bar Toscana) and one in Santa Ynez (S.Y. Kitchen), will open its first restaurant in Beverly Hills. Located just one block from the Peninsula Hotel, the new restaurant, dubbed Nerano, is due to open in November 2016.
Owners Andy Brandon-Gordon and Carlo Brandon-Gordon were inspired by the coastal cuisine they encountered on their many trips to the Amalfi Coast, specifically the village of Nerano. Joining the team is Chef Michele Lisi (Vincenti), mixologist William Perbellini (Bar Toscana), and wine director Emily Johnston, who will curate a list that highlights Amalfi wines.
The 4,000 square foot, two-story space will feature two dining rooms, two bars, and a glass-enclosed display kitchen. Located just a short hop from the Century City office buildings and the upcoming Waldorf Astoria, Nerano has all the makings to becoming a beloved addition to the neighborhood.
