85°C Bakery adds to Glendale

There’s another 85°C Bakery making its way to Glendale, settling in right next to the forthcoming Halal Guys on Brand says a tipster. The upcoming destination will tuck inside the Woolworth Building, and should help to further anchor one seriously hot stretch of boulevard in town.

Wine drinking for charity

Children’s Bureau, a non-profit dedicated to stopping the abuse of children, is throwing a big wine-fueled dinner party on October 20. The whole thing goes down at Casa Vertigo in Downtown, with chefs from Susan Feniger and Ray Garcia to Steve Samson and David Lentz attending. Yes, there will also be lots of wine to quench the thirst of the 500 or so attendees who pony up $250 a head for the pleasure.

Here comes Tarme Grill

Check out this upcoming Glendale spot Tarme Grill, which translates loosely to "it is fresh." The big new standalone player on Glendale Avenue in Glendale is still going through construction but is almost done.
