Good news holiday pizza-lovers: Roberta’s, the effortlessly cool pizza restaurant from Brooklyn is coming to Los Angeles for an extended stay. Beginning this Thursday a team of pizzaiolos will be on site at the Platform project in Culver City for a two-month stay, working a four-day-a-week schedule all through the Christmas season.

In fact, the location — right underneath the Expo line — is perfect for this time of year, as the Roberta’s team will be right next to an actual Christmas tree lot. They’ll be popping up inside the space every Thursday though Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. doing a truncated menu of pizzas and other fare, along with beer and wine.

The decision to test out the waters with a longer stay only fuels rampant speculation that soon enough Roberta’s will be heading to Los Angeles full-time. After all, they got a taste of the sunnier side with a two-weekend stint at Desert Trip in Indio a couple months back, and since then have done one night stands at Sqirl in Virgil Village, and Marvin off Beverly Boulevard. This go-round at Platform (which already includes New York transplant The Cannibal) kicks off this Thursday, December 1, and runs through at least mid-January.

Watch: This Pizza's Crust Is FRIED CHICKEN!
