Earl of Sandwich Expands Dominion to Downtown Los Angeles

One of America’s favorite sandwich chains finally breaks ground in the heart of LA

Brigham Yen

Downtown’s roving real estate correspondent Brigham Yen has reported that popular sandwich chain Earl of Sandwich will open in Downtown LA’s Bunker Hill. The Orlando-based chained will take over a 930 square foot space in Two California Plaza between Mixt and George’s Greek Grill.

It’s a pretty serious boon for LA as the sandwich shop with locations across the US currently only has greater Los Angeles outposts in Anaheim’s Downtown Disney and in LAX. Now the Downtown office working crowd will be able to get their hands on the franchise’s popular hot sandwiches like The Full Montagu with turkey and roasted beef and Holiday Turkey with with cornbread stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce.

The opening of Earl of Sandwich is further evidence of the recent resurgence of Bunker Hill, which has recently also seen the addition of Poke Bar and Pressed Juicery. Earl of Sandwich is scheduled to open in spring 2017.
