Expect something completely different

Time to check in on all things Bottega Louie, as the Downtown stunner continues its plans to bring a second location to West Hollywood. Eater has exclusively gotten its hands on some renderings for the upcoming space, and boy does it look awesome. Let’s take a look.

First, the place seems to be a pretty big departure from their Downtown digs, which is gilded to the hilt and covered in literal tons of marble. With the new Santa Monica Boulevard address, the plan is apparently to rock a much greener, leafier look, complete with some indoor-outdoor appeal and trees for shade. You’ll also notice some heavy vine work happening, and it’s all wrapped in muted browns, greens, and grays, with a bit of pink pop from chairs and marble inside.

By the look of things, you should also expect an ample amount of glass making for a seamless transition between indoor dining and out, along with a dedicated outdoor bar. Inside you’ll still have the spotless dessert and coffee area, as well as seating for even more all-day diners.

Construction has yet to truly start in earnest on the defunct Cooley’s space, so don’t expect anything to happen until at least this spring. From there it’s going to be a long build-out, but once the place arrives expect mobs of fans to pack the place day and night. That’s just the Bottega Louie way.
