If 2016 was the year of restaurant closings at Westfield Century City, 2017 will be the year of restaurant openings at the luxury mall, and with a strong lineup to boot. LA’s first Eataly has been the buzziest project, but last Friday the LA Times released the full list of all the eateries to look forward to.
After Eataly, Din Tai Fung will likely be one of the most popular concepts, as the Taiwanese chain known for those juicy xiao long bao should open as early as January next year. Expect to wait for those dumplings though, if the crazy lines at the newest location of the eatery in Torrance are any indication of what is to come.
Another concept to look forward to is La Colombe Coffee Roasters, the Philadelphia-based coffee company that is expanding across Los Angeles. Get excited for its popular mocha draft lattes to help fuel a long day of shopping.
Other incoming concepts include Melrose’s Compartes Chocolatier, Javier’s, MidiCi, Manhattan Beach’s Petros, and another Shake Shack.
