There’s a second location of Tengoku Ramen coming already, this time to Western Avenue in Koreatown.
The beautiful new ramen shop already enjoys an opening location in Arcadia — and boy is it a stunner — but never seemed fully satisfied out in the ‘burbs. To make a bigger splash, the team behind the Kabuki chain of restaurants is taking their upscale ramen obsession right into Koreatown.
There’s no official opening yet, though spring is the thought at the moment. The new Tengoku takes over the former Noodles location, coincidentally enough, and should carry much the same design and menu as the David Chun-built original.
Can’t wait that long for your next ramen fix? That’s okay, you’ve got plenty of options elsewhere — from the already busy new Tsujita in Glendale to Ramen Room in Sherman Oaks and Tentenyu over on Sawtelle. Ramen, it seems, is still as trendy as ever.
