Phillip Frankland Lee talks Top Chef [Spoiler alert]

Scratch Bar / Gadarene Swine chef Phillip Frankland Lee is no longer part of Top Chef, having been given the boot on a recent episode. Less than thrilled with the way he was portrayed on the show, Lee took to the internet to voice his displeasure, telling She Knows that the judging wasn't fair, that he was so intensely focused on winning when the season started that he actually stopped drinking three months before, and that there were others (yes, he names names) perhaps more deserving of going home than him.

Chef Mohan Ismail of RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen in Century City is set to have a big week. This Thursday, his episode of Beat Bobby Flay airs on the Food Network, with Ismail doing some Singaporean favorites against Long Island-based chef Nicole Roarke.

The Spork Foods team visits Blue Window

Highland takeaway spot Blue Window has been doing well, thanks in part to its eclectic, cheap, and rotating menu of vegan-available fare. In this fun clip, the healthy-eating Spork Foods team chats with Kajsa Alger about the concept, before digging in to taste it themselves.
