Shore up inside Maradentro in Brentwood tomorrow, the new seaside-toned lunch and dinner spot from the Cocinas y Calaveras team of Jesse Gomez and Jose Acevedo. This second outpost of the growing Maradentro brand (the original is in Studio City) opens March 1.

Inside the Ana Henton-designed sequel, expect an ocean of blue hues and lightly burnished woods, with seating for 80 across a variety of two and four tops, bar seating, and padded booths. The nautical theme continues with sextant and anchor signifiers hanging on the walls inside, while the tight patio is fenced in by some tall Douglas Fir planking.

The menu at Maradentro Brentwood is a crossover from the Studio City original, focused largely on Mexican seafood favorites like tacos dorados and a rotating fish of the day. There are tacos, enchiladas, a poblano mayo-swiped burger and salads as well. The full menu is below.

Maradentro opens March 1 in Brentwood, keeping weekday hours from lunch through dinner. Monday through Wednesday hours run 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with an extension to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday nights. Saturday and Sunday are for dinner only, with Maradentro opening at 4 p.m. daily (and closing at 11 p.m. Saturday, 10 p.m. Sunday). Daily happy hours start at 4 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m.
