Gwyneth Paltrow is going to give the nearby Soho House some serious heat when her Gensler-designed Arts Club finally gets built on Sunset Strip. Sister site Curbed LA has a first look at Paltrow and business partner Gary Landesburg's towering West Hollywood clubhouse, which costs $2,000 to join, and $2,000 a year thereafter at its London outpost.
The massive 132,000 square foot building will also house a Japanese/Latino restaurant, lounges, eateries, and dining terraces. The building is slated for the former Hustler Building plot, right in the heart of Sunset Strip. The project still has a number of hurdles before it can break ground, so there's no projected opening, but once Paltrow's gleaming club goes up, it should be one of the hottest private clubs to open in LA.
