Avec Nous Brings Ritzy French Riviera Experience to Beverly Hills

Avec Nous is just about ready to rise from the ashes of Livello, the previous restaurant housed inside the upscale L’Ermitage in Beverly Hills. The newcomer is plotting to launch on Saturday, March 5 — and you can make reservations as of right this moment.

You’ll recall that the former restaurant, Livello, kept a decidedly upscale Italian feel, whereas Avec Nous is in the bistro business, paring back some of those fine dining touches in favor of something a bit more approachable for all. Chef Olivier Quignon is now in the kitchen, reworking the menu from top to bottom while maintaining a Riviera feel that harkens back to some of France’s most famous dishes. The space itself has also been redone, with a glossy finish (sans white tablecloth) that feels more at home under the bright Vegas lights than in sleepy Beverly Hills.

The room is undoubtedly a lot more fun to be in, with plush seats, new wood floors, and an area for private dining to boot. They’re even carving steaks tableside and pushing champagne carts around the room.

Avec Nous opens for dinner service this Saturday, with daily dinner hours beginning at 5 p.m. Daily brunch and lunch service runs 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while the bar closes nightly at midnight.
