Greenleaf's Abbot Kinney Spot Is a Sanctuary for the Salad-Obsessed

Venice knows what they like: healthy, fresh, delicious

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Greenleaf Gourmet Chopshop, which has been quietly expanding across prime locations in Los Angeles, is now ready for its most lovely restaurant yet in the heart of Venice's Abbot Kinney Blvd. Officially open today in the former Feed space with a wide menu of salads, hot plates, sandwiches, and tacos, it's essentially a catch-all dining hall for health-obsessed Venice residents.

One differentiating factor with this Greenleaf: a full cocktail program that focuses on revitalization and natural ingredients. It seems a little counter-intuitive, but it makes it easier to drink up that activated charcoal or bee pollen. Hours run 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on weekends. Brunch service runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
