Howlin' Rays Hits Delays and Pushes Back Opening Date

New, 1 comment

Another delay for the hotly anticipated restaurant

Angelenos have been patiently waiting for the arrival of Howlin' Ray's brick and mortar establishment. After settling on a home in Chinatown, the hot chicken purveyor hoped to open by Chinese New Year, but later pushed its opening date to March 16.

Well, the wait continues, as today the Johnny Zone and Amanda Chapman-helmed concept announced on Instagram that the grand opening has yet again been postponed due to an unexpected delay, with a yet-to-be-announced first day.

In case you missed it! REPOST:Updates y'all! Our projected opening date was set for March 16th, but we've hit a small, unexpected delay that will push it back by just a bit. Stay tuned for up to the minute updates and we will let you know as soon as we have an updated date for our first day! It won't be too much longer. Even though it's just killing us to not be open already, we want everything to be just right for y'all! We are so humbled by outpouring of support & love we are receiving, it means everything to us. If you would like to come to our soft opening party, rsvp to HOTCHICKEN@howlinrays.com ALSO! We aplogize for any confusion, there was a small error in our @la_mag feature this month stating that we opened last month (we wish!) but we are still putting the finishing touches on our hot chicken shack y'all! #itwillbeworththewait #thatsapromise #howlinrays : @meetjakob
