Philz Coffee Scores New LA Outlet Inside Hollywood's CNN Building

Hollywood continues its resurgent ways, with news today that an upcoming third outlet of popular Bay Area transplant Philz Coffee will open inside the CNN Building on Sunset on Monday, April 18.

The location, at the base of the building at 6430 Sunset, should set up the non-espresso coffee company for success with all the office workers in the are — even if they are already heavily caffeinated thanks to Groundwork and the new Demitasse, both situated nearby.

Much like their other locations in Santa Monica and Downtown, this latest execution promises lots of space, bright colors, and friendly staff making drinks by hand. There’s a long counter and pastry case the runs along much of the interior, while communal tables and a variety of lounge seating (think couches, puffy chairs, and the like) will also be available. The tall glass frontage lets in loads of natural light too, so you should be able to tell just by driving past how busy the place is at any given moment.
